We’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions for your convenience. If you have other questions, feel free to contact us at the link above.
Q: Can you give me all of the photos you took?
A: I handpick only the best photos from our session and carefully work with each selection to bring it to its full potential. All of my shutter clicks are a result of real-time adjustments/composition/lighting/challenges, to help create the final product. They are not, however, the final product, and will not be treated as such.
Q: How many photos do you typically deliver?
A: Depending on the length of the shoot, an on-location shoot will yield about 10-20 photos. Convention shoots will yield about 5-7 photos for a solo 30 minute session. Groups will be different. Hallshots will yield about 1-3 photos. Paid shoots may yield more photos depending on the initial agreement.
Q: Do you charge for photoshoots?
A: In order to invest time and money into a project, I need be interested in it, which allows me to be creative and try out new techniques. I typically will not charge unless it is a special request that requires more than what my resources can handle.
Q: Do you touch up all of the photos I receive?
A: Yes, the photos I deliver will all be retouched by me (referred to as “freshly baked” by some of my fans!)
Q: When and where can I expect to see my photos?
A: Your cosplay session photos will be completed depending on my schedule, usually on a first come first serve basis, as I have a full-time job. If you require the photos to be completed prior to a certain date, a rush edit fee may be charged. Photos will be uploaded to our Google Drive and a link will be provided upon completion.
Q: Can you add special effects?
A: I specialize in photography, not digital art, so I usually do not add special effects to my work. Sometimes I may experiment but it is not something I do on a regular basis. There are plenty of other talented individuals out there that have experience in digital art, so it may be more fruitful to seek out their services.
Q: Can I edit your photos?
A: No, the delivered images are the final product and cannot and shall not be altered in any way, shape, or form. Photos labeled “extra” are not edited and you are free to alter them as you wish without crediting me.
Q: What rights do I have to digital prints?
A: You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Seven Lines Photography/Bakephotogatari Photography.
